Tredrick Johnson is President of the Beta Rho Foundation of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. (Beta Rho Foundation). In addition to being a family man, he is a business owner (First Class Business Solution LLC.) and graduate of Mississippi Valley State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Health, and a Master’s of Business Administration degree from Forbes’ School of Business (Ashford University). Tredrick’s professional background is multi-disciplinary and includes Human Resources, Environmental Health and Safety, Corporate Training, and Project Management performed at the local, multi-site and corporate levels. Some of his professional, civic and volunteer pursuits, includes membership in Society for Human Resources Management, MS Delta Society for Human Resources Management, American Society of Safety Engineers, past board member of Habitat for Humanity, President Hannah International Ministries board of directors, Keeper of Finance of the State of MS. Organization of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., and others. He has received numerous honors and awards to include State of MS. Undergraduate Advisor of the Year, two-time Omega Man of the Year, Leadership Bolivar County honoree and others. In his spare time Tredrick enjoys golfing, volunteering with worth-while civic causes, and fishing.
This 49-Year Life Member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. is a native of Lexington Mississippi and holds a B.S. Degree in Political Science from Mississippi Valley State University, Itta Bena, Mississippi. Brother Cooper is a retired military officer from the U.S. Air Force with over 20 years of distinguished service in a variety of demanding administrative, executive and leadership positions to include administration officer, chief of protocol, commander, joint staff action control officer and executive assistant. He is also a retired Texas Educator, former principal, lead teacher, counselor, dean of students, athletic director, and coach. Brother Cooper holds the distinction of being the recipient of our fraternity’s Lifetime Achievement Award, Founders’ Award, Superior Service Award, Four-Times Omega Man of the Year Award and Texas Lone Star State Ques Hall of Fame Inductee. This Bridge Builder is currently the Vice President of Beta Rho Foundation of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.; Co-Chairman, Youth Leadership Conference Committee, OPPF, Inc. and active member of the IHQ Fatherhood Initiative and Mentor Leadership Team. In addition, he is the Immediate Past President of the Texas Lone Star State Ques (LSSQ) and Former Basileus, Psi Alpha Chapter/Alamo City Ques, San Antonio Texas.
Attorney Carlos D. Palmer, a native of Greenwood, Mississippi. He attended public schools in Greenwood, and graduated from Greenwood High School.
Attorney Palmer later earned a degree in English/Pre-law from Tougaloo College, obtained his law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law, and received his Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Mississippi Valley State University. While at Tougaloo, Attorney Palmer was initiated into Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
Attorney Palmer owns and manages Palmer Law Services, LLC, which has offices in downtown Greenwood and Grenada, Mississippi. He also presently serves as Greenwood Municipal Judge, Leflore County Justice Court Judge, and Board Attorney for Sunflower County Consolidated and Clarksdale Municipal School Districts.
Attorney Palmer presently serves as the 1st Vice State Representative for the State Organization of Mississippi and is the Immediate Past Basileus of Beta Rho Chapter. He is a 3-time recipient of his graduate chapter’s Omega Man of the Year, the 2013 Mississippi Organization Omega Man of the Year, and is a life member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
Representative John W. Hines, Sr. was born and raised in Greenville, MS and is a product of the Greenville Public Schools. He is a graduate of Mississippi Valley State University. He is principal of Bigelow Development and Investment Group. As a seasoned veteran of the Mississippi House of Representative; he is a member of the following legislative committees: Appropriations, Insurance, Public Health, Management, Medicaid and Military Affairs.
Representative Hines is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., 100 Black Men of the Mississippi Delta, the NAACP, and a former member of the FEMA National Advisory Council. In his spare time, John enjoys, cooking, golf, serving as high school football official, and mentoring young men.
Travarus Taliferro’ Horton attended Mississippi Valley State University (MVSU) where he majored in Industrial Technology with a concentration in Architectural Construction Management. On the 25th of March 2000, he was inducted into the Beta Theta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi. Horton furthered his education, at Jackson State University and earned a Master of Science in Technology Education, completed in 2007.
In order to fulfill his desire of giving back and move closer to his son, Travarus transitioned to a faculty role at his alma mater, Mississippi Valley State University as professor in the Engineering Technology Department including advisor for the Beta Theta Chapter. Travarus is also a proud member of the Beta Rho Foundation. He has served the organization as treasurer and works with numerous committees.
James Moore is a Cybersecurity Professional, former small business owner, and Army Veteran leveraging specialized experience orchestrating information technology (IT) support and business development. James Possesses applicable knowledge in network configurations, technical data, software development, data analysis, risk management and assessment, client-server support strategies, cloud computing, security operations, and customer service. Strategic and results-oriented, James is committed to providing quality products and services with the ability to maximize performance through collaboration on identifying problems, evaluating alternatives, and making recommendations to improve efficiencies. James has specific expertise in process management, budget analysis, lean principles, and agile methodologies utilizing complex problem solving to develop concrete action plans to boost profit margins. James bolsters a career history supported by extensive Department of Defense Training, global operational experience, Instructional Design and teaching, experiential business operations, and IT Concepts and practices. James holds a Master’s Degree in Information Technology Management, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification, Top-Secret Clearance, and Project Management Certificate. James is a native of Indianola, MS, and currently resides in Prosper, Texas with his wife Tracy.
Terrence D. Glasgow, a native of Los Angeles, Ca, enlisted in the United States Navy in 1984. After completing Boot Camp in Orlando, Florida he attended Basic Enlisted Submarine School(BESS), Basic Electronic and Electricity School (BE and E) and Torpedomans Mate “A”School. After successful completion of his training Seaman Recruit Glasgow reported aboard the USS Trepang (SSN 674) in July 1985. While onboard The USS his personal accolades were Four Letters of Accommodation, Sailor of the Quarter and was the only Third Class Petty Officer in the Navy qualified to supervise the movement of Nuclear Weapons.
After completing his tour onboard USS Trepang he received orders to report to the USS Jacksonville (SSN 699) as the Assistant Leading Petty Officer of the Torpedo Division.
While onboard the USS Jacksonville his duties included Duty Section Leader, Command Assessment Team Member, Divisional Training and Safety Petty Officer and one his personal accolade was Sailor of the Quarter after which time he attended Torpedomans Mate “C” School and in 1991 he was 1 of 6 Navy wide advanced to TM1(SS) and reported to Navy Submarine Torpedo Facility Charleston (NAVSUPTORFACCHASN).
While attached to NAVSUPCHASN he was the online Supervisor and Divisional Training Petty Officer and Master-at-Arms and he was awarded a Letter of Commendation then transferred to USS John C Calhoun as the TM Division Leading Petty Officer. While aboard the USS Calhoun his additional duties included the DEPT 3M Coordinator, Inport Section leader, Command Assessment Team and Inport Duty Chief. After his tour aboard the Calhoun he received orders to Orlando Florida as an TM”C” School Instructor.
While on Instructor Duty he was the Divisional Career Counselor, Student Watchbill Coordinator, Command Safety Officer, Chairperson for Naval Training Center Safety Counsel, Traffic Safety Program Manager, ASF Team Member, NTC Safety HAZMAT Petty Officer, First Class Petty Officer Association Member and Master at Arms, designated as a Master Training Specialist and Command Evaluation Team Member.
While attached to the USS Miami he served as the Supply Department Head and Public Affairs Officer. He received orders to report to COMSUBRON16 as the Supply Officer. Served a brief stint with the US Army in Guantanamo Bay Cuba after which time he received orders to Navy Personnel Command as a Human Resource Officer and ultimately retired.
He holds an Associate Degree from Columbia College and National College, Bachelors Degree from Southern Illinois University and a Master Business Administration from Touro International University.
Lieutenant Glasgow is authorized to wear the Enlisted and Submarine Supply Corps Breast Insignia, Navy Commendation Medal two awards, Joint Achievement Medal, Navy Achievement medal four Awards, Good Conduct Medal Four Awards, expert Pistol shot and various campaign/unit ribbons.
He has been employed by National College as the Department Chair for the IT Department. Accolades include Instructors of the Year.
He is currently employed by the Social Security Administration where he has performed as a Customer Service Representative, Automation Instructor and Management Support Specialist.
Mr Glasgow hobbies include serving the community through the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. Beta Rho Fraternity Inc chapter currently serving as the Vice Basileus. Accolades include Superior Service Award and Omega Man of the Year. He also serves as the Beta Rho Foundation secretary. Additional hobby is playing music where he is affectionately known as DjNoQlUE.
He is currently married to Denia Glasgow. He has four children Mrs. Janskey Jones, Terrence Glasgow Jr., Kennedy Wellington and Chase Wellington Additionally, three grandchildren, Jayarri Jones, Jarrence Jones and Jiyasia Jones.
